Houses in Kwaj are not much to look at. This was a one-story duplex made of cinder blocks. Built by the Corps of Engineers in the ‘50’s.
Not impressive but they’re rock-solid and air conditioned. And the rent is free. Plus all the coconuts you can harvest.
And you can’t beat the view. This is looking towards Oregon.
Another good thing about the location was that it was just up the road from the pool.
Dependents pool. Olympic size, of course.
